The player and editor can be used without an account. Optional accounts process your name, email, password hash or linked sign-in identifier. Community publishing stores the uploaded design, preview and related social activity. Website community use also stores topics, requests and replies, plus optional app-version or device details that you choose to include in a support request. Song selection, audio analysis, template editing and video export run on your device. WaveStudio does not upload your audio file for advertising. The app may connect to our server to download templates and catalog data and to manage your account.
WaveStudio may offer an optional rewarded ad after a clear, individual opt-in to unlock a template for the stated period. When enabled by the service configuration, the app may also show a banner in an appropriate screen or an app-open ad when you return to the app. Advertising being unavailable or disabled does not block template use. When advertising is enabled, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share IP address (for coarse location), product interactions, diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. See Google's Privacy Policy. Consent and privacy-choice controls are presented where required.
We present consent and privacy-choice controls where required by law. When available, you can review “Ad privacy options” in the app settings and reset or delete your advertising identifier from Android settings.
We use account data to operate the service, community, moderation and support. We do not sell your personal data. Necessary data may be handled by hosting/service providers, Google when AdMob is enabled, or to comply with a valid legal request.
We retain account data and content while the account remains active or as needed to operate the service and prevent fraud. Delete your account, identifying data, and uploads in Profile → Delete account or at Delete account. Public topics or replies may remain under “Deleted member” to preserve discussion context, after account identifiers and optional app/device metadata are removed; you may request removal of a specific post. Limited backups may remain until their scheduled expiry.
The service is not directed to children below the applicable minimum age, and we do not knowingly collect their data. We may update this policy when a feature or service provider changes and will update the date at the top of this page.
